Private foundation · Chicago, Illinois · Established in memory
In memory of my parents' compassion, we support 501(c)(3) partners advancing healthcare access, education, and young family support.
The Shaikh Foundation is a private, donor-supported platform. We channel resources to vetted, U.S.-based 501(c)(3) organizations rather than operating programs directly, backing teams already serving communities with dignity and evidence of impact.
I
Primary care, labs, prescriptions, and mental health support for uninsured and underinsured communities.
II
Scholarships, tutoring, and college and career readiness for students who would otherwise fall through.
III
Reducing the financial barriers for couples starting a household, with dignified aid at the beginning of a life together.
Vet
Identify 501(c)(3) partners with strong governance and measurable outcomes.
Back
Provide targeted grants to expand access and deepen impact where it already works.
Track
Review reports, outcomes, and financial stewardship, with respect and trust.
NoteWe do not accept unsolicited funding requests at this time.
We accept private donations from known supporters through an unlisted link that requires an access code. If you received one, continue to the donation page, or write to us for access.
In loving memory
“This foundation was created in loving memory of my parents. Their quiet generosity is our compass: give with dignity, measure with humility, and help people stand on their own feet.”
Suhail Shaikh, Founder
The tree in our mark is theirs: roots they set down, shade for people they never met.
